Restaurant Pizzeria Don Marcello, Grand-Rue 81, 2720 Tramelan

While traveling in the Bernese Jura region, I was able to try this Italian restaurant. It has a terrace for the summer. The staff is very pleasant and friendly. I wasn't entirely satisfied with my pizza. It lacked flavor, perhaps lacking in tomato sauce. Otherwise, the hot sauce was good and had the right amount of heat.

07/20/20 Excellent place to eat. We got the pizza, speechless!!!! Delicious 5 star with high quality fresh products. Next time I'll take the horse fillet, I saw it being brought to a customer: seeing it made me hungry, and I was full from the pizza, served on a platter with a sauce that I'll tell you about soon, and the meat placed on a hot stone. Very kind, friendly staff who speak Italian and French, probably also German. Top!!!! 07/28/20 I returned after a week and had the horse fillet.... really excellent with mushroom sauce and green pepper sauce with chips and sautéed vegetables. I recommend it to you. My wife had a salmon tartare... that was excellent too!!! 12/09/2021 A few days ago we returned, but for lunch and we had some first courses..... penne vodka and prawns and spaghetti with seafood..... I can only tell you that they were spectacular, but the best thing is to taste them in person!!!

We ordered takeaway pizzas and asked to cut them, but they refused . Once we arrived at our destination, we realized the shameful quality of the pizzas... Small, misshapen, huge layers of cheese in places but only tomatoes on others... I give 2 stars for the hot sauce, but the pizza was shameful... This is the second time we have ordered here. The first time, without being crazy, the quality was still less shameful. Do not recommend
