The Egglisgraben inn is located above Basel and Pratteln, not far from the 3 castle ruins of Wartenberg and the Cholholz biotope. Arrival by car is possible. Parking spaces are available. The inn itself has a rustic dining room and a slightly larger, very modern “hall” for family celebrations or groups. There is also a beautiful terrace that offers plenty of shade in hot weather thanks to large trees. There is a small playground for children as well as an animal enclosure where, among other things, alpacas and donkeys can be found. From the terrace you have a beautiful view over Basel Land. The food was perfectly prepared and very tasty. Although it was very busy, the service was quick and very friendly. Prices are not cheap but still within normal Swiss limits. We would be happy to come back!
