I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of restaurant Rössli in Basel area. They had nicely decorated the restaurant with carnival theme. The staff was welcoming. The onions pie was good but lacked seasoning. So did the pasta and then I felt a bit heavy digestion-wise for a few hours after eating them. Price was ok for quality.

Yesterday we were able to enjoy a truly culinary experience with friends. A true explosion of flavors! We tried a little of everything: fish, meat, pasta, pizza, and dessert, and every single dish was a hit: prepared with love, perfectly balanced, and simply "on top." The service was also first-class: very friendly, attentive, and warm. A huge thank you to Angelo and the entire team. We felt completely at home and will definitely be back!
