Very quaint small restaurant with excellent food. The restaurant has been in the family since 1913, the server was the daughter, the chef the mother, and they were all very attentive. I had the Swiss Rösti and a mixed salad. Both were delicious, and I have to say. I hate beets, with a passion! However, my wife convinced me to try them with the salad, and they were delicious. I even begged them for the recipe I liked them so much. What a friendly and great family restaurant.

We had a delicious rösti for lunch, served by a pleasant waitress from Moldova, on our way down from the Jaunpass yesterday. This hotel-restaurant was the only to be open along the road, a sign that business is not that good at this time of the year. The restaurant is traditionally decorated including hunting trophees and they feature music at dinner time with accordeons "en-masse". We will return to check out night life here.

Welcome in French and German, good authentic cuisine and atmosphere on Sundays from 1:30 p.m. with the accordion. Dogs allowed, we'll be back!
