Delayed recession from November 20, 2022. Since we are real Sicily lovers, it was a must to visit the Pizzeria L'angolo. It was a Sunday evening and not too busy. For the aperitif we ordered an Aperol Spritz, Sanbitter with mineral and a Tequila Sunrise. The drinks were served quickly by the waiter. Since the Sunrise didn't quite work out, the four of us stood behind the counter and mixed the perfect "Marc Sunrise". The whole event was so spontaneous, warm, entertaining and hospitable, it couldn't have been better😃. The ordered menus didn't take long to arrive either. Scallopina al limone was bombastic. The tagliatelle were Sicilian al dente, simply perfect and the meat was just as tender. The linguine al ragù di polpo was just to melt away. Perfect squid and the linguine really al dente, era perfetto. We would like to thank the host couple Merendino and the whole team for their hospitality. It was familiar, personal and carefree, just like in Sicily... Despite the justified praise, a small suggestion. When it came to the ambience, we missed the Sicilian flair a little. Can we bring something from our next vacation....?
