The climb to Salzmatt was worth it. A magnificent view, a very friendly welcome and service. One of the best fondues we've ever had, accompanied by a delicious cold white wine. It was a fantastic trip.

Beautiful view. Normal mountain hut with everything you could imagine. Cheese. and meat platters, hut coffee and Merinques with Nidel etc., on the menu. Parking space available. Recommended to visit in summer when the weather is nice because of the space for consumption. It's only open during the mountain summer anyway.
