Everything about this class was superb. We tacked on the walking tour of Lucerne, Marco showed us all over old town, then took us through a picturesque wheat field with a lovely view of the city and finally to a local dairy farm before riding the 100 year old funicular with us to his restaurant. There we dined on a delicous board of local meats and cheeses before getting to work making an incredible swiss dish called Capuns. The food was all incredible but what really made the afternoon for myself and my two friends was the atmosphere created. It truly felt like we were being shown the city and cooking dinner with an old friend, not a guide. Marco was funny and thoughtful, even making sure the glasses he brought along on the walking tour for the aperitif were chilled and giving us some extra time to take pictures. This was truly one of my favorite classes I have ever booked, if you're debating, do it. It's so incredibly worth it.

Had an amazing private cooking class experience with Marco ! He was very informative, patience and humorous. It was our 2nd day in Switzerland, suffering from jetlag when we visited but he welcomed us with the widest smile and helped us with most of the cooking cause we too tired. The food was easy to make and tasted so good! Wouldn’t have trade off this experience with dining in a local Swiss restaurant. Thank you Marco! Highly recommend to book a private class with him.

Amazing adventure day with my wife and Marco. Private tour which started with a ride up the Sonnenberg Funicular. We then walked the remaining way to the top of Sonnenberg where we were able to get spectacular views of the Pilatus Mountain and the city/lake of Lucerne. We then walked down Sonnenberg and where we were able to see many active farms and animals. When the private guided tour/walk concluded, we headed back to Marco's restaurant where we cooked a traditional Swiss meal. With many great ingredients and guidance from Marco, we enjoyed the cooking process and learned great recipes which we can take home. Since we had a private experience, we enjoyed our meal in the basement dinning room cellar. It was an amazing experience where we shared great stories and conversation with Marco. Such a fantastic experience if you are looking to experience the true Swiss culture which you often can not get for such an affordable price in Lucerne. Also, it is better to book directly through Marco's site as there are no fees that are charged unlike the traveling agency websites.
