We chose this place for our anniversary. First of all, the ambiance, menu, and food are very authentic. The dishes are beautifully presented, and the spring rolls are some of the best I've ever had served "wrapped." However, the red curry with tofu didn't impress us; the prices are on the high side: even the vegetarian options are all over CHF 30.00, and the service, while adequate, is too impersonal for my taste for such an intimate setting.

I spontaneously went from my bike tour to the Thai restaurant Stauffacher Essen. The service is discreet, which appealed to me personally. When my Tom Yam Gung soup arrived I was pleased with how the dish was presented. It was fun to enjoy the soup. I was also amazed at how many shrimps were in the soup, I also ordered it with shrimps and that's how it was. It is the Bangkok cuisine based on old traditional recipes, which certainly gives the dish one or two touches. I can recommend the restaurant
