Tracht - EIN HAUS AM SEE, Seestrasse 25, 8803 Rüschlikon

Stunning terrasse by the lake with gorgeous views, elegant restaurant inside with delicious food and very friendly service. A little gem not to be missed. We were 7 and they were very accommodating. They asked if we could try to limit our choice of main courses to 4 different dishes as to reduce the burden on the kitchen and I don’t think we managed to, they never mentioned it again and served us absolutely perfect dishes, at the same time, perfectly cooked. We must have been the table from hell, but they were awesome, always friendly. This is a small restaurant, yet they delivered awesomeness like a well-oiled grand restaurant. We started with drinks on the terrace to enjoy the views and proceeded then inside to start dinner properly. I had an excellent, and visually stunning ceviche of lake whitefish with quinoa, chilies and mango, absolutely delicious, and my main was a zander filet with some delicious gnocchi and a lemon foam, also delicious.

We organised our wedding reception in Tracht in August 2023 and it was an absolutely amazing choice! From the first time, when we visited Tracht, we already fell in love with this place and the atmosphere created by Sarah and the whole amazing Team! Sarah is a very enthusiastic person, always open for our suggestions and supporting from the first to the last moment with her experience, positive attitude, and a cheering up smile :) Tracht charmed us with the top quality of interior design, food and Team, combined with the relaxing atmosphere! Sarah, together with the Team, made this day like in our dreams. We could enjoy the beautiful summer day with our closest family and friends in the surroundings of the Lake Zurich... Relaxing atmosphere, beautiful views, delicious food and such an amazing Team made a beautiful long-life memory for us and our guests! Thank you! We can't imagine a better place to celebrate this special day!

Super, what a find for us. Excellent quality food and wines, professional friendly service. We had the poussin and the wild deer, both grilled to perfection. Accompanied by a glass of champagne. Definitely coming back after their well deserved end of summer break
