Wow, what a wonderful experience. I had been walking past this restaurant for years but never really knew what the deal was. It’s small and there aren’t a lot of reviews so we never took a chance, but I’m very glad we did. The food was fantastic - somewhere between fine dining and comfort food. Fixed menu but the options were great and we left feeling full. Wonderful wine pairing option. Super friendly staff. Intimate but not stuffy - only 8 tables in all. They told us they change their menu every few weeks. I will definitely return before they get one of those stars and it’s impossible to get a table!

Perfect evening. We hadn’t seen our friends for a year and the atmosphere in the restaurant allowed for conversation to flow and the wine kept flowing too. The wine flight accompanying the meal was fantastic and each wine explained by the staff. The food itself was delicious. Our standout course was the first course of lobster with fennel and the the accompanying wine was perfect, in fact also our favourite of the night. The salsify second course was very clever and nice to have something one doesn’t eat at home. The veal was melt in the mouth alongside a vibrant green risotto. I’m not a pudding fan and prefer cheeses however the rhubarb was delish! To top off a fantastic evening, all 3 of the people looking after us were attentive, spoke to us in both German and English and made a great evening better. Bravo 👏🍾

We dined here to celebrate my husband's birthday . It was a wonderful experience, and we were lucky that there weren't many more people that evening. All the food was super tasty and beautifully presented and the staff did a great job explaining all the dishes in English. This place is perfect to spend quality time having a nice conversation with someone you love.
