Cozy and welcoming atmosphere, clean, fresh and delicious food, warm, friendly and attentive service - all combined, makes this eatery a real gem in the Dornach/Arlesheim area. Apart from the regular menu, the 5 of us were handed a list of their soups of the day, to see how many servings were still available for each. There was only one left of the roasted brussel sprouts concoction, so I called dibs on that one :-). The serving was quite large, and one could get full just on that thick, creamy soup alone. A rack of gourmet salt, pepper, olive oil and balsamic vinegar was offered as free extra seasonings for the salads and bread. The owner was super attentive, and made great efforts at satisfying our individual needs and requests. Upon his recommendation, I tried their special Schweppes with rhubarb and berries. It was really refreshing on a very hot day, after a climb to the Ermitage Arlesheim castle.
