Dining next to a beautiful scenery was indeed amazing. Rating of the food as per personal experience. Compared to other Swiss restaurants, the food here may be 4+ stars yet compared to the rest of cuisines, the flavours were simple without much layers. The taste of dishes were predictable = pork + cheese + eggs. You can imagine the taste simply by looking at the pictures. Sadly this is the dining culture of Swiss and other restaurants are just more or less similar.

GREAT meal along the water. Our server was top notch. Very friendly and attentive. The Lamb stew was awesome. Would eat here again.

The wonderful thing about many restaurants in Luzern and Zurich are their commitments to heritage. These restaurants have lots of history in them and you can feel it while you're enjoying your meal. Wirtshaus Taube is no different. The meal was good but the service was slightly lacking as we didn't really get checked on till our food actually came. We're glad we checked this place out so give it a shot if you're ever in Luzern.
