Had a fantastic lunch at the pub restaurant today. Loved the ambience. Staff were very friendly and attentive. I had the mushroom wellington and my husband had the mackerel. Both delicious and pipping hot, not lukewarm or warm like most places!

Hi Wednesday lunch food generous and tasty. However what I must say is the staff were lovely. Friendly and helpful. I came as a lone female staff were completely unfazed and I felt very comfortable and was told to sit anywhere which is so unusual. Attentive but unintuitive. Will definitely be back alone and with friends.
