A nice location. The service is excellent, the beer and food (both dinner and breakfast) is very good. The rooms are a little dated and our shower dripped alongside the sink outflow leaking. Not major problems but niggling. The bed was very comfortable

Absolutely wonderful place to stay, eat or drink! We recently stopped over at Upavon as part of a walking trip and the hotel could not have been more accommodating or friendly. Most amazing, hearty meal, wonderful rooms, and so flexible to make us an early breakfast and packed lunches for our ongoing journey. Would absolutely recommend!

My husband was interested in seeing the town his relatives immigrated from. This inn was the closest to the area with an available room. Very nice people run the inn. Food is normal pub food, just fine. We stayed in a room off the inn, not upstairs. It had clearly been recently renovated. Very nice.
