Popped in for lunch, initially we were the only ones there, friendly welcome. Food was ok, I had the meatballs, was sorry to find a piece of paper in the sauce! But quite a tasty dish. Hubby had belly pork which was advertised as crispy but wasn’t, though nice flavour. All in all ‘ok’

4 night stay, superb large room, spotlessly clean, comfortable. Pub is well situated, short walk to rail station and town. Buses for all local areas stop outside. Good selection of beer's, and food was amazing. Very friendly. Would definitely stay again.
