Good pub fare, reasonably priced. We visited for an early lunch, so it wasn't very busy (which we prefer). The pub itself is full of character, and may be a lively place in the evenings. I particularly enjoyed the 'Seven Swans' gin, which is not widely available. Evidence that they support local brands.

Stop for refreshments on all day walk. Very welcoming, nice choice of ciders etc. Did not eat today. Shame no garden on this sunny day. Good service at tables.
