This place is absolutely gorgeous. There is so much history here. The Chapel rooms are eye wateringly beautiful. Lots to look at. Nice walk around the garden. Staff really polite and helpful. We'll worth a visit. Cafe food is limited but nice. Visited for the day on one of the heritage open days.

Beautiful grounds. Friendly staff. Wonderful gardens. Inside the buildings, you can feel the history. When I went, there was an interesting exhibition on about the history of Ladybird Books. Very nostalgic and brought back wonderful childhood memories. There is a cafe too.

This is a quirky place. Our room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was set up for invalids to use but we ignored this. The rooms are not serviced whilst you stay there. We stayed 4 nights but you can get milk tea coffee and biscuits …
