Came in for lunch and had a really nice experience. It was relatively quiet but not dead, the limited staff that were on shift were polite and helpful. Food was lovely and it was reasonably priced. We stopped by as we're looking to move into the area and the thought of having this as a local was a definite plus for us!

The Hanging Gate isn't far from where we live in Runcorn but this is the first time we have been there ---- absolutely lovely pub. Piping hot food - excellent value for money - and gorgeous triple cooked chips! We will definitely be going there again.
