Had dinner in the cosy dining room. Good variety of dishes on the menu plus the specials board. Tasty food, well cooked and presented, generous servings. Service was very good. Will certainly visit again when we're up here again next year.

We stop here on the way to a festival. The food is top notch and IS made on the premises. |The bar has a good selection of local ales and the landlady is always super welcoming. ||My Ceasar Salad and my partner's homemade fishcakes were excellent.||If you are touring you are welcome to stay over too.

Have been here a few times with family who live in the area. A proper old fashioned local pub with a good menu and a nice range of beers. Definitely recommended if you're in the area.
