The building is definitely the star in this setup. The food was good. The village is nice an die to it's small size quickly explored . For outlander fans a very recognizable spot but you can enjoy it also without connection to the show

We stayed at the Covenanter for one night on our trip for our elopement/honeymoon as one of our “Outlander” sites. It was extremely cute and has a little bar downstairs. The staff was extremely welcoming and the town of Falkland around it is so quaint and friendly! Highly recommend if you are in the area.
