We visited with the Vale Ale Trail, wow it looks great a complete refurb, modern but not losing the proper Welsh boozer feel. We visit because they do great ale, hospitality is always welcoming and it’s a unique pub to visit just on the outskirts of Cowbridge. Well worth a trip out.

Visited The Cross Inn today as The Fisherman's Cat had a pop-up kitchen there. Had fantastic paella. Absolutely delicious. Lovely pub too.

The pub was closed for a long time I think. But now it's very open, serves a REALLY good selection of beers has a beer patio area. Which is right by the road but the road is never that busy. No food to date but I believe that's going to change. Well worth a visit.
