Lovely short walk from a free car park with 10 or 12 spaces. Great view of the dam, and a fair amount of ruins left from lead and byrites mining. Car park was empty on arrival but full on leaving on an August Sunday morning, so go early? Well worth the detour to see. Very photogenic.

Nice little stop off for a walk around or picnic, uneven ground but not difficult. Lots of old buildings and signs giving info on what you are looking at. A great interesting free place to enjoy. Small free car park.
