Decent pub fare in Amble. Good choice of beers on tap, and variety of options on the food menu. Service however is lacking, and our main server seemed completely overwhelmed and lost and kept forgetting what we had ordered.

We booked here for lunch today because of the reviews. They didn't dissapoint. It was grandparents, parents and 2 little ones. The poor lady serving solely did a cracking job as did the chef! We all had great meals and both service and food brilliant. Moules Marriniere was excellent! Highly recommend! We may even stay over next time x
