A real find- pub for friendly locals not primarily tourists. Head here not Lavenham for good food and perfect Abbot. Superb!

Nice quirky country pub, a little cold in the evening but they have a nice open fire. Good selection of food, though service was very very slow - we arrived on the earlier side of the evening, and they weren’t super busy, but still had to wait for over half an hour for our food… Food was good, not cheapest (both main and dessert).

We visited this pub for a meal whilst staying on a nearby campsite, the food was very nice and the staff, owner and locals were super friendly, well worth a visit and it's dog friendly
