We weren’t hotel guests here, but had Monday night pizza. It was fabulous! Remembered to take a pic of the last 3 slices from our 2 pizzas. Nicely thin crust, with light sauce and just very fresh. Would certainly recommend trying the food here.

This is a traditional country village hotel, and a wonderful little bolt-hole for a trip around Devon and Cornwall. The landlady is incredibly welcoming, helpful and friendly, the room and bathroom was comfortable and clean and we had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked and plentiful.

Although we only stayed for one night we fell in love with this old and quirky hotel. It has an amazing history and is much loved.|Comfortable rooms and lovely staff. The breakfast was local produce and high quality. We can't wait to stay again...
