Owner was friendly. The fish was excellent, a big fresh piece of haddock with a great batter. The chips however were poor, very dry. Even dipping them in curry sauce/Ketchup wouldn't save them. Lots of other fried items were on the menu which I wish I'd tried like the Mars bar etc. Maybe the chips were just having an off day!
