This pub is a credit to the lovely couple that run it. We popped in while on a cycle ride along the river and were bowled over by this lovely pub, if you are at Sheffield basin and fancy a ride give it a try we did and will again lovely. Thanks for a lovely experience and hope all goes well with you

What a lovely village pub This is. we popped in the the other afternoon. Has some friends of ours what live on barge had recommend the pub. credit To the landlord Paul. Who couldn’t do anything more to help us. It’s just a shame this pub doesn’t do food. has we would had stopped for a bit longer. We will definitely be going back soon.

Simply, a well run, good honest local pub. Friendly staff, sports , pool table, nice beer garden and affordable. Not enough of this type of pub around these days. Well done.
