You found the perfect table. The menu looks superb, the reviews are glowing, the reservation is confirmed for eight o'clock. Then you spend twenty five minutes circling the old town looking for a space, arrive stressed, and the evening starts with an apology instead of an aperitif.
At CoRestaurant we spend our days helping you find where to eat. Tonight we want to talk about the part of the evening nobody plans: where to put the car. A new Swiss platform called Parkito.ch has quietly solved this, and it pairs beautifully with a dinner reservation.
Check the parking like you check the menu
Nobody books a restaurant without glancing at the menu. Parkito applies the same logic to parking. It is a free Swiss directory that lists parkings with the details that decide your evening: opening hours (will the garage still be open after dessert?), full tariff tables (what does an evening rate cost?), capacity, height limits and accepted payment methods.
One map, every option around the restaurant
The fastest way to use it: open the Switzerland parking map, type the city of your reservation into the search bar, and the map jumps to that city with every listed parking as a pin. Each pin shows the name, address and capacity, one more click and you have the complete price list. Two minutes of homework, and you park thirty metres from the door knowing exactly what it costs.

Regulars, save your spots
If you have your habits, a favourite trattoria in Lugano or a Friday brasserie in Geneva, it is worth the one minute to create a free Parkito account. It adds a favourites list, so the parkings around your regular tables are one login away. No subscription, no payment details, nothing to cancel.
Honest data, and a way to fix it
The team behind the platform, a small Swiss crew who explain their approach on their about page, combines official data with operator information and manual checks. If a tariff changed since your last visit, the contact form gets verified corrections online within days. As a directory ourselves, we appreciate how much discipline that takes.
The full evening, planned in five minutes
Our new pre-dinner routine looks like this: pick the restaurant on CoRestaurant, book the table, open Parkito, choose the parking, note the evening tariff. Five minutes, and the only surprise left in your evening is what the chef sends out first.
