We spontaneously dropped by on a Monday evening and were very pleasantly surprised! Warm, rustic, home-style! Great food for the price. Homemade mixed salad with potato salad and other special requests for the main course are no problem. In conclusion: If you hear a knock on the table in the kitchen and you've ordered schnitzel, you've come to the right place. 5/5!

We arrived spontaneously without a reservation and managed to get a table. The service was friendly and attentive. The Krone is a very simple, yet very Swabian and cozy restaurant. You could describe the restaurant as typically Swabian. Unfortunately, it was quite cold and therefore a bit uncomfortable. The side salad was truly excellent. It's rare to get a salad where everything is homemade – simply delicious. The pancake soup was also very tasty and I was very pleased. Unfortunately, the onion roast beef was a bit tough and almost cooked through, even though I ordered it medium. Since the restaurant quickly became very busy and the waitresses were increasingly stressed, I didn't complain about the meat. Unfortunately, it was also a rather thin piece of meat – so I wasn't impressed by the onion roast beef. The spaetzle, on the other hand, were fabulous. The schnitzel I ordered was okay, but not outstanding. In summary, the side dishes were excellent, but unfortunately the meat was only "okay."

Cozy inn with 125 years of history. We ate the onion roast for €25 and the game plate with venison ragout and roast venison for €24. The onion roast with fried potatoes and salad was tasty, but in the game plate with spaetzle and salad the game meat was unfortunately hard and the sauce wasn't enough. The complaint would be compensated with a free beer. It's a shame that the innkeepers want to give up after 12z years because they can no longer find staff.
