One of my favorite restaurants. Expect friendly , welcoming and excellent service. Food is well seasoned. I love their whole fish in a salted crust, however their schnitzel is delicious. Everything on the menu is appetizing. Great wine selection. Good place to go to with family. Cosy atmosphere, tasteful decoration and very comfortable seats. They have in indoor and outdoor seating area overlooking the lake. It seems to be a regular of some of the chefs in the area as well. I Highly recommend this restaurant . Again, one of my most favorite restaurants in Zurich especially on a beautiful sunny day overlooking the lake.
It’s a nice neighbourhood restaurant. Staff showed a lot of attention and the food overall was tasty. I am not giving 5 because food/price ratio, in my opinion, is off. Their burger is 41,50. It is a very good burger, but the price is just too high considering the size of a meal you get. You eat it and still stay hungry. I ordered a Wienerschnitzel with thyme potatoes (41 CHF). Staff brought me potatoes with onion (which I don’t eat). I asked to bring the right ones, and after a while they brought correct order. I was basically done with the schnitzel when a new plate arrived, but what disappointed me was that potatoes were saltless and tasteless (I took them home and refried with some salt and spices). I must say that schnitzel is very good. This is my humble opinion, thanks for the food and a nice birthday celebration.
Delicious food in a cozy and intimate setting. Highly recommend their specialty, the salt-baked fish which is incredibly tender and delicately herbal. Their desserts were also a great way to cap off the dinner - the Kaiserschmarren (which often comes out quite dense) is fluffy very much like a soufflé and the chocolate ’lava’ cake is also tasty. The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly too - we’ll definitely be coming again.
