The food is super great! Especially the Vienna pork schnitzel, super crispy skin with tinder inside😋 Our own table service guy is also nice and attentive, but there was a lady with pink glasses who only speaks Germany. She just randomly grabbed a garbage into our desk, assuming it was ours, which was definitely not. When we told her that, there wasn’t any apology, she just took it away while mumbling some words we didn’t catch, and we didn’t feel it’s nice. In general, a really lovely meal is a bit ruined with this extra service we never asked for🙃 Hope there would be more improvements on this.
During my recent visit to a restaurant nestled in a breathtaking location, I was greeted by some of the most spectacular views I've ever encountered while dining out. The setting was truly mesmerising, with a sunny day illuminating the scenery, even though the clouds obscured the mountain peak. The lake view, paired with the occasional burst of sunshine, was a highlight of the experience. However, when it comes to the food, my experience was somewhat underwhelming. While the meals were satisfactory, they didn't leave a lasting impression. This establishment seems to fit the mould of a tourist trap, where the stunning setting compensates for the lack of culinary excellence. The apple strudel disappointed, as it was average at best; however, the white sausages were a pleasant surprise and stood out as particularly enjoyable. The restaurant offers plenty of parking, but do bear in mind that there is a fee to park. In conclusion, I would rate my experience as good overall, predominantly because of the unparalleled views. The food, unfortunately, didn't match up to the scenery. This restaurant is worth a visit for the location. Food 3/5 Location 5/5
My first impression of this place was, it is a typical restaurant meant for tourists, since it is located near Zugspitze cable car station. However, surprisingly, the food is reasonably priced. Cappuccino €4,20, beer €4,30. My hamburger was around €15 (so big!) and the cake (best!) €6,80. You may also dine outside with a full lake view! The washroom is free for the diners to use. But keep your receipt in case you need to visit it again. Yes! I would surely go there again when I visit Zugspitze! 👍👍👍
