The excellent restaurant which is part of the accommodation offers very modern and tasty gastronomy. The choice is huge and the dishes are not only delicious, but also very nicely served. The service is professional and fast. Certainly pleasant orientation to the restaurant in the accommodation.

The three-hour drive from Munich to Spiegelau was worth it! The ambiance was very inviting and modern. We received a very friendly welcome and immediately felt at home. We ate the homemade gnocchi and pasta – both were freshly prepared and impressed us not only visually but also tastefully. The portion sizes were perfect, so there was still room for dessert 🙂. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Anyone who expects more than just schnitzel and fries will definitely come here! Compliments to the chefs and the very friendly service. We'll be happy to come back.

Yes, not exactly cheap. But when – as here – the quality of the products is really good and you can see the work of good cooking everywhere, a certain price level is understandable and absolutely fine. There's no schnitzel-and-fries fare here, which is apparently favored by quite a few. The dishes are thoughtfully composed, deliciously prepared, and served by exceptionally friendly staff. The two steaks I tried were extremely fine and a wonderful revelation – now I know what good regional free-range beef tastes like when cooked to perfection, and I learned that a steak knife is completely unnecessary if the quality and preparation are just right. Brilliant! The side dishes too – delicious... The wonderful gnocchi – very good! The Camembert (sounds boring) is completely new and very creatively conjured up a taste experience. The desserts – definitely try them (my favorite is chocolate mousse with lemon sorbet and...)! Yes, not huge portions, but you can have a delicious soup as a starter or fine desserts without being totally overfilled.
