Great place with decent portions.

The Pratscher – well-known far beyond the country's borders... Excellent pizza in a historic, time-honored setting; lively, yet never unfriendly staff – in short: highly recommended & legendary! Anyone who hasn't tried the incomparable, heavenly Pratscher pizza can't boast of having lived...

We almost drove past; the word "pizza" put us off. That would have been a mistake. The term "rice soup" turned out to be a homemade beef broth with rice – brilliant, I can't get anything better than that in a three-star posh restaurant. The main courses were also delicious, and the dessert was okay too. The horribly complete Arcoroc tableware from the 1960s may have taken some getting used to, but what's on it more than makes up for it. The Krone isn't a gourmet temple, but many who fancy themselves as one could learn a thing or two here. A glimpse into the kitchen: spacious and spotless. The hosts: a true Franconian and an Italian – now the sign with "pizza" makes sense. We'd love to come back.
