Gasthof Hirsch : Monbachstraße 47, 75378 Bad Liebenzell

I received a voucher from my boss for Gasthaus Hirsch, and I'd been wanting to make a reservation for a while, as this restaurant had been recommended to us elsewhere. I really like the easy online reservation process. Unfortunately, the weather was very mixed last Sunday, so we couldn't sit outside. We were greeted warmly inside and were even allowed to choose our table; we took the window table for two. The ambiance is clean and unobtrusive, yet we found it cozy. We ordered the three-course menu, and every single course was pure enjoyment... different flavors wonderfully combined... The service from the two employees was warm and unobtrusive... A wonderful evening for us, many thanks to the entire Genusshandwerk team.

I came here after a visit to the thermal baths. I'd been toying with the idea for a while, but the price put me off. After several recommendations, I finally did it and was more than completely satisfied. A real recommendation for anyone who appreciates good food.

If you're looking for a place in the region for special occasions or simply a culinary highlight, this is the place. For me personally, it's not an "everyday restaurant," but if you want something truly good and "cooked with heart," then the Hirsch is the place to be. The service was unobtrusive, super warm, and authentic. The menu was simply GREAT. My personal highlight was the cheese dumplings; as a Bavarian, I can't quite get them that fluffy... But the other courses were also superbly balanced and executed in terms of flavor and craftsmanship. This was my second time here, but I'm sure it won't be the last.
