Great service, good food but the starters were great, there was good beer and the snack plate beforehand was great. However, the cheese selection was devastating. Apart from a moldy cheese, only semi-hard cheese - no soft, raw milk or red smear cheese as usual. We buy from the same Affineur, but fortunately the varieties presented here were not recommended to us there. We cut the cheese into small pieces and took it to the room for our dog.

If it were just about the food and location, the Bayernstubn would have earned 5 stars. The duck and location were great. Unfortunately the evening was spoiled for us with the bill. Food and drinks are moderately priced, but this is not to be expected from the liquor on offer. After the meal we were kindly offered a schnapps by the service and we were ripped off with it. Since the food and drinks are fairly priced, you don't expect such absurdity for 2cl of schnapps each! We paid €28 for the two short ones, €18 of which was for 2cl of a plum brandy, which costs €80 in the bottle for private individuals, so we make at least €630 in sales. When we asked the waiter, we were put off with a smile and the statement that the most expensive schnapps she served was €40. Absolutely unacceptable and we will neither visit nor recommend this location again!

The service was very attentive and the portions were very large. You immediately get a rustic feeling and a craving for something savory.
