Überfahrt is the quintessential of Germany's haute cuisine and deserving so. All the dishes are impeccably presented and prepared to the tiniest details. True to German's fashion, the dishes aren't flamboyantly plated, but simple and structured, and they let the taste speaks for itself. Each dishes always brings you a surprise as you can't predict the texture and taste just based on presentation alone, and the food constantly develop as you start savoring it. My absolute favorite is the langostino which is the star of the entire course. The langostino was simple, elegant, each bite was full of intensity and was paired with a perfect wine to elevate the dish to a beautiful note. Some people might find Überfahrt's taste profile is a bit acidic, but that's on par with the Bavarian tradition which favors a bit of sourness, and it's meant to be eaten with a good glass or three of beer or wine to pair with. I had the 7 course with wine pairing and I can't think of any other way to have it. One of the best wine pairings I've had the privilege to try, every single pairing has been on point and brings out so much flavor for the food.

One of the best meals of my lifetime. Seemed most ingredients originated no more than a few km away. Service was top notch, polite, and attentive. We did however order wine off the Italian restaurant menu, the excellent food needed world class wine! The truffle soup with a good Tuscan wine will transport you to another world. Enjoy!
