Hôtel - restaurant du Glacier : Rue de l’Évêque 3, 1986 Arolla

We had a great 2-night stay here. The room was clean and the little balcony was a great place to hang out and take in the views of the mountains. The staff was great as well. We tried to make a reservation in our next town, but we were unsuccessful due to not speaking French. We asked the staff for some help and they were able to help us out. Very nice of them to help us. The meals were great as well. Two dinners and both were very good. The restaurant has a nice little bar to relax in before dinner with a couple beers on tap. The outside patio was very comfortable too. Good wifi that reached up to our room. I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Arolla.

Nice little houses with lovely decorations and wooden showers. Restaurant inside is compacted and traditional, with decent food. Wonderful staff, most speak a little English but mostly French. Very nice view of the mountains just in front of the house and can be seen through the windows. Overall five stars. Not extremely impressed by the breakfast but it's not bad.

One of our best, most memorable, meals in Switzerland. The Bourgignon de boeuf fondue is a must, paired with a lovely, rich Swiss red. The service was very helpful and fun. The restaurant is cozy and captures the best of Swiss alpine ambiance. Make sure you order the freshly made fruit tarts for dessert. You will leave groaning and satisfied.
