Hôtel - restaurant du Pigne d'Arolla : route de l'évêque 1, 1986 Arolla

Basic, yet clean and comfortable. The view outside the window of mount Collon was breathtaking, and the food at the hotel restaurant, surprisungly updcale and truly delicious. The highlight for me, after 3 days of hiking, was the massage. Claudine was exceptional!

This is a review for the restaurant. We stayed in a different hotel but wanted to check out other restaurants in town for lunch. I saw a bacon cheese burger on the menu and had to give it a try. The service was very good. The waiter was polite and patient to us non-french speaking Americans. Two beers on tap. The food quality was very good. I neglected to ask for a well done burger, thus got a typical French medium-rare burger. My fault. Something to remember. The burger was a legit bacon cheeseburger. It was very good as was the fries and the small side salad. We would definitely recommend this place.

Had a great experience there. Staff is amazingly helpful and nice. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious. Breakfast had a ton of selection: eggs, ham, cheese, yoghurt, assortiment of cereals and oats, bread, croissants, good coffee etc. Room was sparkling clean, shampoo, conditioner etc was provided. Coffee machine and capsules in the room. Bus stop next to the hotel made it really easy to continue our journey the next day.
