Grotto Ghiridone : Rasa, 6655 Intragna

Excellent welcome and good food, very honest prices. Hot kitchen open until 3pm, we chose the minestrone, accompanied by fresh bread, panzanella, cheese platter, 2 coffees, 1 herbal tea and a very good shared chestnut cake. The cost was 54 CHF. Large outdoor area and some internal tables, it is possible to buy take-away products such as chutneys, biscuits, syrups and jams.

Very modern grotto, it does not have that typical grotto flair. After 3pm no hot and cold food, only ice cream and cakes. The waitress was alone and you can understand, however, an idea: what if before closing the kitchen they prepared some plates of cold cuts and cheeses to keep covered in the fridge? People who come to the Grotto would be happy and for the waitress the work is minimal. Waitress of Spanish origins very nice and fast in the service

Very nice little restaurant. Small and delicious dishes and fine cakes. The service is friendly and helpful. Knows the connection to the mountain railway and is happy to help you choose hikes.
