One of the best meals and experiences of our lives. Booked the chef’s table (table d’hotes), experienced a kitchen the way it should be run, ate some of the best food of our lives, with the best service imaginable. 1) Can Roca, 2) Roe (now defunct) or this meal tonight.

Highly recommend this fine dining restaurant located at the Chalet Royalp. This Michelin rated restaurant serves a superb variety of modern French dishes with interesting creative combinations. Each dish was delicious and full of flavour but not overpowering. I ordered the perfect egg and artichoke appetizer, which was delicately balanced and light. The 12-hour slow cooked braised beef chuck was amazingly tender and flavourful with tarragon jus. The rhubarb and rhubarb ice cream was unique and smooth, perfect finish to a meal. Impressive premium wine list, and they stocked ample bottles to satisfy my group's high volume drinks order. Lovely ambience, staff were friendly and attentive. Amazing views of surrounding Alps. Kitchen went extra effort to create a custom cold cuts platter to accompany our extensive wine tasting session.
