Great restaurant perfectly located by the lake. Lovely menu with local and international influences. Most of the sweet water fish is from the lake. Great terrace. Service is welcoming and friendly.

This is an amazingly good family owned and run restaurant for its location on the eastern shores of Lac du Joux in a most unattractive little town, Le Pont, in the Swiss Jura mountain chain. I had lunch there the second Friday of October 2024, a time period till early December when many restaurants specialize in serving game from near and far. However, I'm more into their well deserved praise for fresh fish from the lake situated some 25 m west of the restaurant building. In summertime they have a terrace facing the lake and the road that passes in between. I had a very well executed whitefish accompanied by spätzli and a glass of Pinot Noir from reputed wine makers Adrian and Diego Mathier in Salquenen, Wallis. Service was slow and rather stressful for the staff since there were a lot of guests having complicated helpings of game and only two people serving us all. Their wine list is the most impressive part of it all, featuring wines from all regions of Switerland, some of which are hardly found anywhere else, like Pinot Noirs from the very secret wine maker Jacques Tasciatore in Cressier. This in itself merits a detour. Note that there is no nearby parking, it's located some 10 min walk to the north, close to the railway station. Overall good value for money with rather large portions and kind reception. Highly recommended!

I found this restaurant to be really run of the mill with average food at best and service that is hit or miss. But considering the price is incrementally higher than average and the website advertises this restaurant as "gastronomical", I could not let this go. The fries were not crispy. I honestly wouldn't recommend this place.
