The hotel is absolutely lovely, with breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it perfect for relaxing. The staff was exceptionally kind and attentive, taking care of every detail to ensure a flawless stay. The meals were delicious! The overall ambiance was warm and serene, ideal for unwinding and enjoying every moment. Without a doubt, a place we look forward to returning to.

I stayed here for one night in a single room and had dinner at the restaurant - both were fantastic! The hotel is full of charm and history, which I absolutely loved, and my room was perfect. The bed was super comfortable, and the room had everything I needed for a night (or even a few). It was quiet enough, with no noise from other rooms - just a little from the corridor, but nothing at night, so it didn’t bother me. That’s just part of the character of a historic building! Dinner was great - the halloumi burger and fries were amazing. A special mention to the two lovely young ladies who managed both the reception and the restaurant; they were so welcoming and attentive. Overall, a wonderful stay!

We enjoyed our time at Du Glacier. The hotel’s history is very interesting. There are text with information about it spread all over the place. The rooms have everything it needs. They are keep with a historical feel. We loved that, but good to keep in mind this also means, no TV in the regular rooms, thin walls snd squeaking floors. The breakfast is very basic. The restaurant has a large menu, but unfortunately lacks vegan options. But the pasta dishes are vegetarian. They are made locally and tasted very good!
