Le Saint Georges Gruyères Hotel & Restaurants : Rue du Bourg 22, 1663 Gruyères

I had a fantastic lunch at this cozy restaurant in Gruyères. The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented — but what really made the day special was the service. Isaac, our server, was absolutely amazing. He was incredibly friendly, attentive without being intrusive, and always had a warm smile on his face. He made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. It’s rare to find someone so genuinely kind and professional at the same time. Thank you, Isaac, for making our evening so memorable! I’ll definitely be coming back.

Lovely lunch! All the waiters were so attentive and nice, specially Hachem who was lovely to my and my family. The food was great, and for Swiss prices it wasn’t too expensive considering it’s a super touristic spot. Portions were big and tasty.

Our family absolutely loved this hotel and its restaurant! The hospitality was truly exceptional—we felt warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. When our daughter left behind her beloved sleep stuffie and we couldn’t return for it, Anna was incredible. She located it for us and kindly arranged to have it mailed to our next hotel. We’ve visited Switzerland three times and spent over six weeks exploring the country, and Saint Georges stands out as one of our all-time favorite places to stay.
