Lovely! Excellent all round, especially our waitress who was absolutely charming with lots of good recommendations. From the amuse bouche onwards the meal was delicious: I had a very nice foie gras with toast (and a really interesting chutney, nice touch), then a duck confit which was very flavorful, then I stuffed myself with a cheese platter AND dessert, which I both enjoyed very much. The restaurant was lively without being loud, and the decor is classic, welcoming and characterful, especially the outdoor area which is very pretty. There's also a nice little park next door so kids can go off and play for a minute after eating, so I will definitely be coming back for lunch sometime, but tonight was a lovely romantic evening for my gf and I.

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of Buffet de la Gare de Céligny. Both the foie gras en terrine and seared were very well prepared. The butterred cooked perch fillets were a delicacy. The strawberry based desert was very pleasant. The terracce is is nicely shaped in a half circle with trees providing nice shadows in a hot summer night. Service was perfect.

I love this restaurant, such a convivial place to have dinner. The staff is helpful and lovely. The decor has this nice french brasserie ambiance. And of course for the most important the food is delicious Love going back there
