I used to have lunch here several times per week but not anymore. The prices once again have increased, the portions size reduced (the salad sizes are ridiculous), and for what? Average food at the best, most of the time unseasoned or with poor quality meat / fish, the menu is repetitive, vegetarian option is unbalanced and most of the times doesn’t include any protein source (just a bunch of carbs and fat), the salad buffet is empty at 12:15. The staff, friendly, but inexperienced. Better to go to coop or eat my own food. Answering to the below comment: None of the information you’re providing is new to me. I am well aware of the overall cost increase. I also remind you that in less than one year you have increased your prices twice, so this isn’t related to VAT increase which only came to effect in 1 January 24. I don’t know where your benchmark data comes from, but as regular customer of coop / migros, I can tell you that your prices / quantities are way off. E.g. your “big” salad container costs 16 CHF and is much smaller than the fresh daily salads prepared at coop which cost less than 10 CHF. Further the salad buffet is always empty by the time the majority of us can arrive for lunch (avocado, salmon, tuna, are all gone at 12:15 and all is left is greens and other carbs - paying 10-16 CHF, depending on the size, for lettuce and beans seems unreasonable to me). Your small salad container looks more like a coffee cup! How do you even fit voluminous vegetables there? It’s ridiculous and it costs 10 CHF! The fact that you work with apprentices just indicates that your margin is even higher because for sure you’re not paying full salaries to these individuals. So once again I will continue to avoid having my meals at this place and I’d really suggest you to recheck those prices, sizes and product availability because I can tell you that you are losing and will continue losing customers.
3 stars for the overall experience I had until now. However with how the cashier treated me today, I won't bother coming back. They are not consistent and clear on their price. A normal meal with meat/fish and 2 sides costs 16.- Any additional side costs 2.50 My colleagues twice didn't like any meat or fish so he only took 3 sides and he got billed 7.50. So I thought that's the rule, which seems to make sense. Today I didn't want to eat much so I only took 2 sides, the lady first wanted to bill me the price of a vegetarian dish, 14.-, for a scoop of rice and a tomato..? I was confused and I said but I only take 2 sides.. She then just immediately gave me an unpleasant attitude, shaking her head, eye rolling, smirking, saying "non mais je peux pas vous facturer 2.5 un side, vous vous rendez compte?" I explained to her that they applied that to my colleague the other days so I thought that was the rule? And she just accepted billing the price of the sides but the mocking attitude remained. I tried to explain again that I really saw it worked like that for my colleague so I thought that was the rule, but she couldn't care less. I mean, what is the logic of billing one client 7.50 for 3 sides and billing another 14.- for taking 2 sides? I don't mean to abuse on the price and if she had remained courteous, gave the clear explanation, or proposed a reasonable price, things would have been different. I ate there almost everyday and whether I take a full meal, a salad or just a few sides, I'm still a customer and a minimum of respect is required. The worst thing is she seems to be part of the senior staffs, even most of the apprentis there are more courteous. Such a shame how one person can ruin the whole thing.
