What can I say! The host was perfect helping us with the best of Liechtenstein to drink with the beer and wine. We decided to take the Liechtensteiner cordon bleu with different flavours! Perfect! You must visit if you have not yet!
Very friendly and welcoming team. Rooms are nicely taken care of, well preserved in a Landhaus style. Reasonable in size, with a balcony which you share with a neighboring room. In itself not bad, however, when the neighbour is a chain smoker and you are not this can be unpleasant. There is no airconditioning l, so in summer the doors to the balcony mist stay open. This is troublesome for a quiet night due to a main road with multiple trucks passing, the highway nearly and the terras underneath. A very nice terras, where we enjoyed our veggy salads and good fries a lot. We had a vegetables platter and a couscous salad, with fries. Both tasty and good size portions. For s fair price, knowing the Liechtenstein price level. The beer drinking local fire brigade comrades continued their loud voiced discussions about water tubes until far after midnight. That was unpleasant, because it kept us awake. Breakfast was appropriately done, upon our request no unnecessary meat or cheese. Sufficient bread and yoghurt with muesli. Fresh fruits kindly included and no problem to get a hot water for our tea bottle used during the hiking trail.
This really is a traditional guesthouse! Slightly dated furniture and decor, but lots of charm!! The bed was incredibly comfortable and huge! The curtains were heavy enough to block sound and all of the light in the middle of summer when you go to bed before the sun... But hard to want to block out the incredible view! Just really lovely and friendly staff! Breakfast was simply delicious and much more than we could eat! Dinner was also pretty good. The children's play area outside, while a little ragged, was great fun and had lots of things to play with! As a solo parent traveller, I found the cost a little expensive, when adding in dinner and breakfast, but I do appreciate it's in a reasonably expensive area and don't have anything to compare it to. Even with the price being a bit high for me, I would still come back! The staff were also really helpful with suggesting directions for us after flooding impacted our intended roads. They were also great with my toddler... Really friendly and accepting!
