We made a reservation for this place for 6:30pm so that we could try the special Lucerne vol-ai-vent which was basically a pot pie filled with meat and vegetables. We also had the famous Swiss veal and mushroom sauce with rosti. Everything was so good! They also provided fresh homemade bread that you can go cut up yourself. We sat outside under the awning with a good view of the river. I would highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Lucerne for a quick day trip. It was incredibly good.

We went for an early lunch on a Sunday and enjoyed a beautiful view of the lake. The service was incredibly quick, and the sea bass with risotto was rich and full of flavor. We highly recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting Lucerne!

It just goes to show you never can tell, I initially overlooked this restaurant because the reviews weren’t awesome. But I really wanted fondue by the river for our last night in Lucerne so we headed there anyway. It ended up being our favorite meal while we were in the city. The funding was great, the pork Cordon Bleu was massive, and our server was so friendly. Highly recommend!
