Fiesta del Sabor : Poststrasse 1, 4562 Biberist

We went as a family to Fiesta del Sabor in Biberist and it was an incredible experience. First of all, it is important to know that it is not a Mexican restaurant (they also explain it on their website), but rather they offer "a South American breeze" with a lot of Mexican inspiration, some Peruvian dishes such as lomo saltado, and Tex-Mex options such as ribs. We ordered some large nachos with beef to share as a starter, and for the main course we tried the blue enchiladas with chicken, the red chili, and the lomo saltado. Everything was absolutely delicious. The quality and freshness of the ingredients is exceptional. You can tell that the chef cooks with passion: the freshly made guacamole, the details like the pomegranate seeds, everything prepared to order. The red chili was an explosion of flavors; Mexican rice also very tasty. The enchiladas, made with blue corn tortillas, were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The interior of the restaurant is decorated in a very nice Mexican/South American style, but without being overdone, something that I personally love (there are no typical rugs on the walls, for example). In addition, the dishes and plating are very careful and the attention to detail is noticeable. The service was lovely, and the owners convey that Latin joy that makes one feel very welcome. For me, it was the best Latin food I have had in Switzerland so far. I will definitely return and recommend this place to family and friends! Thank you very much for this beautiful experience.
