Indian restaurant south , Abi's Aroma Avenue : Marktgasse 48, 3800 Interlaken

One of the best restaurants in Interlaken, i went there 3 nights in row because the taste was top notch felt better than restaurants in India. I had chili chicken,dragon chicken, chettinad chicken curry,parotta,naan,chicken biriyani and dosas too everything was perfect ,Abi took personal care of us and the service by fernando was friendly,if you wanna try Indian food I would highly recommend abi’s aroma avenue

I would come back to interlaken just to eat at Abi’s again! Every single bite of the two dishes we shared was incredible. You can tell everything is fresh, and the chef said himself that he uses only natural coloring and ingredients. I’m drooling as I reminisce writing this! I had walked by the restaurant a few times and the aesthetic is what pulled me in, and I’m so glad the food quality matched the vibes! Great craft local beer selection as well. Highly recommend.

Food taste good and the owner is from Andhra, because of that reason we felt more comfortable as we have seen many restaurants are of North Indian types. This one was a typical South Indian style. The kollam (கோலம்) design in the walls are hand painted by the owners wife. It created a sense of entering into a south Indian house.
