20250601 - the food was okay. The service was very good and a great location to sit outside and people watch. The ribs were not bad. The soup was just "okay"

The food was fabulous! I didn't know what to expect because it didn't have good reviews. We initially went to another restaurant next door which had better reviews. The food was decent at that restaurant. Later in the day, we came to this restaurant . The food was amazing. The beef tartar was incredible and so was the asparagus soup. The apple strudel was delicious. The service was also fabulous. Our waitress, Susanne, was super friendly and VERY attentive. I would definitely eat here again.

We stopped for a beer and a light snack at the end of summer on the outdoor terrace of Central Wolter. As usual in Switzerland, the beer was very good. The snack was ok. Unfortunately, there were a lot of flies here , which somewhat hindered our enjoyment of the beer. The service was a bit rude and the waiting times were long. The restaurant is in a very central location in Grindelwald and a stone's throw from the train station. The view of the mountains was great.
